Metal Halide Lamps supplied to the reprographic industry are dosed with the iodides of iron, tin and gallium. In addition to the lamps pseudo-continuum in the 300 to 450 nm range, the gallium adds a strong desirable line at 420 nm.These lamps can be operated from quarter power to full power using the proper switching circuits.
